The Johor Area Rehabilitation Organisation (JARO) maintains a shop in its new building in Jalan Waterworks where visitors can purchase baskets and soft toys made by the disabled.

Johor Crafttown Handicraft Centre

The Johor Crafttown Handicraft Centre along Jalan Skudai, off Jalan Abu Bakar, has on display hand-drawn batik cloth, batik paintings, straw mats and other handmade crafts.

Sri Ayu Batik Industries

The Sri Ayu Batik Industries in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, is known for batik making and kain songket weaving and copper tooling.

Aw Pottery Factory

The Aw Pottery Factory in Air Hitam attracts both local and foreign tourists. Its brick kiln, built to a Chinese design, is 48m long and can accommodate around 2000 pieces of pottery at each firing.

The Minangkabau showroom displays a variety of pottery for sale. Visitors can wander through the studio behind the showroom to watch the potters at work.
