KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 24 (Bernama) -- The International Specialist Eye Centre (ISEC) that started operations about six months ago plays an important role in arresting vision impairment and loss via prevention, restoration and early detection.
ISEC Medical Director Dr Wong Jun Shyan in explaining the centre's role said ISEC is here to restore vision and enrich lives apart from complementing the existing primary eye-care services that are readily available in the country.
"ISEC is an ambulatory surgical centre (ASC) or a day-care surgical centre. We focus on complex eye diseases," said Dr Wong in an interview recently.
ISEC is staffed by ophthalmologists and boasts for the state-of-the-art facilities. It's located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's Mid Valley City.
